LOVE

He met her on a party, She was so charming, many guys were chasing her, while he was so normal, no body paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him. She was surprised, but being polite she accompnied. They sat in a nice coffee  house. He was too nervous to say anything. She was feeling very uncomfortable, suddenly he asked the waiter," would you please give me some salt to put in my coffee." Every one started staring at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously, why he has this hobby? He told her that when he was child he was living near the sea and used to play in the sea and feel the taste of the sea just like the taste of salty coffee. Now every time i take the salty coffee i remember my childhood and my home town. I miss them very much. while saying this tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

Thats his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. He is a man who loves his home and cares his home. She also told him about her childhood and it was the begning of their story. Then the story was just like every beautiful story, they both married and living happy married life. She always put salt in his coffee and he drank it cheerfully.

After 40 years he passed away, left her a letter which says" my dearest please forgive me, forgive my whole life. this was the only lie which i said to you," the salty coffee". He told that in the restourent he wanted to order for sugar but due to his nervousness he ordered salt, it was hard for him to change, he just went ahead and it was the start of their conversation. he could not tell truth to her throught out his life as he promised her not to lie. now since he was dying, he told the truth," i donot like the salty coffee. I had salty coffee whole my life becos i told you so.  i never feel sorry for anything i do for you. In my second life also i want to live with you even if i have to drink salty coffee again."

The tears came out of her eyes while she was reading the letter. Later some day some body asked her" what is the taste of salty coffee?   It is swet, she replied.

Love is not to forget but to forgive,.....  not to see but to understand,......    not to hear but to listen   ........not to let go but to hold........
