TERRORISM

The recent bomb blasts in Jaipur killing 66 innocent people has shaken whole nation. This type of incidents  in various parts of the country is becoming a matter of concern for all of us as how to stop this kind of killing of innocent people by the terrorists. Generally all of us think that this is a failure of security forces or the failure of security system as a whole. This is not the correct answer to this problem. India is fighting this problem since long and as on date The police or the Security forces and the Security system of ours is very effective, even I can claim that our police or the Security forces are the best in whole world to fight the terrorism. For example, the major terrorist groups in the world  are active against India and on the occassion of our major celebrations like Republic Day, 15th August,  or any other major occassion these terrorista groups remains desperate to commit an act of terrorism but they are not able to do so except in few cases. Not only that, our Police and Security Forces wiped out the terrorism from Punjab and sucessfully controlled it in Kashmir and NE Region.

My dear citizens of this Great Nation, There is only one way to eradicate the terrorism from our country is that each and every citizen has to take responsibility to fight against it by keeping himself  alert and to look around himself for any suspecious activity or any suspecious article all the time and to inform the police or security forces immidiately. Please donot ignnore any suspicious activity around you  by thinking that it is the responsibility of the police. Let us be eyes and ears of our security forces. Our security forces are fully capable to neutrilise the activities of the terrorists if we provide such information to them in time. Let us be part of our security system to further strengthen it. I am sure that we will be in a position to claim that no terrorist organisation can act in our country. JAI HIND.

THE WAR

About a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in the war. He rang up his parents from the bordering town and told the parents about his coming home after the war.He asked his parents,"i have a friend and i want to bring him with me." Parents replied,"sure, we w'd love to meet him." The soldier told the parents,"my friend hurt badly in the war and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere to go and i want him to come and live with us."  The parents replied,"son you dont know what you are asking, someone with such a  handicap would be a terrible burden on us.We have our own lives to live and we can not let something like this interfere with our lives. i think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He will find his way to live on his own."

At that point the son hang up the phone. The parents heard nothing more  from him. A few days later they received a call from the bordering town police. The son had died after falling from the building, they were told. The police believed it was a suicide.

The grief stricken parents reached to the bordering town and were taken to the place to identify the body of their son. They recognise him, but to their horror they also discovered some thing they didnot know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in the story are like many of us. We find easy to love those who are good looking, but we dont like people who inconvenienience us or make us feel uncomfotable. On the other hand some one who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

LOVE

He met her on a party, She was so charming, many guys were chasing her, while he was so normal, no body paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him. She was surprised, but being polite she accompnied. They sat in a nice coffee  house. He was too nervous to say anything. She was feeling very uncomfortable, suddenly he asked the waiter," would you please give me some salt to put in my coffee." Every one started staring at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously, why he has this hobby? He told her that when he was child he was living near the sea and used to play in the sea and feel the taste of the sea just like the taste of salty coffee. Now every time i take the salty coffee i remember my childhood and my home town. I miss them very much. while saying this tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

Thats his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. He is a man who loves his home and cares his home. She also told him about her childhood and it was the begning of their story. Then the story was just like every beautiful story, they both married and living happy married life. She always put salt in his coffee and he drank it cheerfully.

After 40 years he passed away, left her a letter which says" my dearest please forgive me, forgive my whole life. this was the only lie which i said to you," the salty coffee". He told that in the restourent he wanted to order for sugar but due to his nervousness he ordered salt, it was hard for him to change, he just went ahead and it was the start of their conversation. he could not tell truth to her throught out his life as he promised her not to lie. now since he was dying, he told the truth," i donot like the salty coffee. I had salty coffee whole my life becos i told you so.  i never feel sorry for anything i do for you. In my second life also i want to live with you even if i have to drink salty coffee again."

The tears came out of her eyes while she was reading the letter. Later some day some body asked her" what is the taste of salty coffee?   It is swet, she replied.

Love is not to forget but to forgive,.....  not to see but to understand,......    not to hear but to listen   ........not to let go but to hold........

hockey

We the Indians are very emotional. There are number of reactions on the performance of Indian hockey team. We should remember one thing that the bad phase is followed by the good one and teaches us the lession. Indian hockey is also passing through its lowest phase. In such case had we qulified for the olympics and might have been the last in the olympics with this kind of prepration.

This defeat in qualifying round has drawn the attention of whole Nation and some big decision may be taken for the improvement of hockey. At least  the concern of every indian is visible to the authorities and for sure they will wake up and will look into all aspects of the game like selection, training, sponsorship, and money as in case of cricket. It is proved that the hockey is still popular in India. We should suggest the measures to bring back the golden era of indian hockey and do our best whatever we can in achieving it.  WITH BEST WISHES FOR INDIAN HOCKEY.

GHAR KI YAAD

I joined forces as a young man and after going through various types of training and courses got the chance to serve in almost all  parts  of  the country. I got the chance to serve in various types of situations, with the result a confidence is developed  that nothing is difficult in the life of a soldier. BUT there is a situation which is really difficult and I face this situation every year and that is SEPARATION  from my near and dear ones.  I come on leave every year with great enthusiasm but the last day of my leave comes every time and it  reminds me that I have to leave back my loved ones again. The moments at railway station are the most difficult  one. All those I love the most remains present and we want to say something to each other but ...........only the eyes speak and asks number of questions which are difficult to answer. The train reminds that the time of getting separeted is very close. The final whistle of the engine tells that the last moment has come and the train starts rolling ....with that the thing which I can  not control is the drop of tear in the eye, the most difficult situation for a soldier.
